Choosing the right one...

The correct adhesive is important to the success of the job. Simply put, a rigid adhesive will put more strain on the sub-floor. Use this for parquet or narrow strips on a good firm sub-floor. An elastic adhesive is probably a better choice for wider boards or where the sub-floor is not as good as it could be.
When using rigid adhesives on very wide boards, make sure the sub-floor and prep are up to the job.

5500 parquet adhesive is traditionally the adhesive when laying parquet blocks.
Old school solvent based rigid adhesive with unequalled initial 'grab'.
Used since the dawn of time for laying traditional parquet blocks. Nice to use, good filling properties,
stands up well and short open time is ideal for fitters who like to get a move on. Economic too.

PU240 adhesive

tip...

When cleaning up trowels after using MS products, leave till next day then scrape off and clean with some white spirit or similar.
When using PU products tools should be cleaned as soon as possible and at regular intervals during the job. Always wear gloves especially with PU adhesives which are difficult to remove after the first few minutes.

Glue wipes are a big help but a rag with some cleaner on does the job just as well.

PU240A+B 131 X 150

£27.32 6.75kg

Polyurethane 2 pack adhesive. We think this is the best wood floor glue on the market bar none. The adhesion is mind boggling. We have tried testing it to destruction but without much success. Fairly rigid, (it does have a some give) so make sure the sub-floor is rock solid because if anything does go pop, it's more likely to be the concrete.

MS250 plus adhesive

NEW BIGGER TUB 18KG

£97.30 18kg

This is an MS polymer adhesive. These types of adhesive are becoming very popular for wood flooring. They are clean, easy and safe. This is a second generation MS and like all the Lecol range it has been developed purely for wood flooring. Many others are adapted from other uses.
MS250 plus has an elasticity in direct relation to the flooring it is bonding and is also high strength.
This is why MS250 plus works better than any other MS adhesive we have tried.

MS290 adhesive

NEW BIGGER TUB 18KG

£85.10 18kg

MS290 is a new product designed specifically for engineered flooring. Taking into account the structural and performance differences of an engineered board to its solid counterpart, this is what the Lecol glue geeks have come up with. Only double nectar points could improve this stuff.

MS265 sausage

ms sausage

£6.38 each 600ml

The MS sauasage is a gun grade floor adhesive which can be used for uneven sub-floors. If it is out by up to 10mm this liquid batten system is ideal for solving the problem without the need for levelling compounds.
Not my cup of tea, but for narrow boards on an uneven sub-floor, this is a fast effective solution even for a novice.

Slatted underlay

Please call for carriage prices on this item.

£54.92 15m2 roll

The slatted underlay acts as an acoustic mat deadening footfall sound and noise transfer. The slots are to recieve MS 265 adhesive when used with a bulk gun.

Always read manufacturers instructions and follow them.
That's why Lecol and Loba spend zillions on R+D...so you don't have to.

PVAC adhesive

£4.46 1kg  NEW SIZE

Flooring grade PVA adhesive. Great general purpose wood adhesive. Commonly used for floating floors
i.e. glueing the tongues together which is probably the worst way to lay a wooden floor. If you were laying floor tiles, would you just glue the edges together?
